ArtsTrain’s London Jazz Festival Collective take to the stage

In autumn 2022 we returned for our twelfth London Jazz Festival performance! Young people from Bexley and Bromley collaborated with ArtsTrain music leaders to produce four original tracks which were performed at Bellingham’s Fellowship Inn as part of a showcase of young musicians, and at Southbank Centre for the London Jazz Festival.

In the above video, we hear from the young people as they work together on their songs, build confidence in their performances and prepare for their two live shows in November.

Once again, we’d like to say a big thank you to all of our participants, our workshops leaders, Serious, The Churchill Theatre in Bromley, The Exchange in Erith, The Fellowship Inn in Bellingham, Southbank Centre, Arts Council England and of course - the EFG London Jazz Festival.
